Notable problems arose with AMS and IPC, driven in large part by fear of the unknown and likely contributing to the heightened risk of secondary MDRO infection.
Through standardizing approaches to data and systematic examination of the causes, we can hopefully avoid the paralysis of fear and mitigate these harms in both routine practice and be better prepared for the next pandemic.
