Spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is a prevalent condition for those between the ages of 50 and 60 years, with a high mortality rate in severe cases.

The findings of this study indicate that a history of loss of consciousness and the presence of septic complications are independent risk factors for the prediction of mortality.

The findings of the present study demonstrate that the prevention of septic complications, assumed as an avoidable risk factor, is of significance in the reduction of mortality.

Consequently, greater emphasis should be placed on healthcare-related efficacy metrics in this specific patient population, which may necessitate prolonged ICU hospitalization.
