The Royal College of Physicians has worked with the Chief Medical Officer for England and several specialist societies to identify and help protect those patients most at risk from COVID-19 who are being asked to undergo strict self-isolation for 12 weeks or longer because they are immunosuppressed.

The societies have each produced guidance to support identification of patients and a template letter suitable for contacting patients most at risk.
