On November 17th 2017, the first edition of “The World Day of the Critical Lung” will be held. It will be an online, global, free, bilingual (Spanish and English) participatory and non-profit event organized by the Pan American and Iberian Federation of Critical Medicine and Intensive Care Societies whose main aim is to provide a high scientific quality event that allows for the discussion of the most novel clinical and therapeutic aspects related to the lung in critical situations.

The World Day of the Critical Lung aims to set a global benchmark given its high academic and scientific level and its novel online, free and bilingual (English and Spanish) format broadcasted by social networks. These characteristics will allow for the active participation of thousands of health professionals, coming from the most diverse regions of the planet that feel connected by one objective: improving the patient with critical pulmonary affectation.
